Choir Make-up Sheets

Once you have logged into Moodle, find the current choir make-up sheet link (there will only be one choir make-up sheet link available at a time).  This link will be found in our current unit of study.  Open the link and follow the instructions below.  Instructions will also be included within the link.

Below is what you will see when you need to document a choir make-up sheet. Simply follow the instructions below. If can make multiple entries to the choir make-up sheet (if you miss more than 1 class). Make sure you include all required information listed below.

To get started click on the 'start or edit journal entry' button at the bottom of the screen. When you are done, click on the 'save changes' button at the bottom of the screen.

Explanation/Instructions
Use this journal to record your practice time for days missed. For each entry you make you need to record the following information...

  1. The date you were absent
  2. The amount of time you spend practicing
  3. What song(s) you practiced
  4. What you focused on and/or what section(s) you worked on

What you practice should be based upon what you missed in class.  You should look at the lesson plans for the day(s) missed and base your practice on what was covered in class.

A sample entry might look like this...

Absent 9/1

Practiced for 30 minutes on The Star Spangled Banner

I focused on learning my part and memorizing the music.
